ACAS Engineering were approached by a large flour miller who was having issues with the numerous carbon vane compressors used to feed rinsing air to the reverse-jet, dust collection filters around the site. There were so many of them having been added through the huge expansion over the years that keeping on top of maintenance was becoming very difficult.

ACAS created two rinsing air systems which were each centralised back to two separate positive displacement blower sets (run and standby). They calculate all the required design parameters and followed the project through to the successful commissioning and onto the subsequent expansion of the system. They even provide a full maintenance and refurbishment package to the client to this day, not just for these blowers but for all PD blowers on site.
