Our Journey.
Compressed Air Services was founded by Jonathan Cunningham With prior experience with HPC compressors, Jonathan set out on a new venture installing, repairing and maintaining compressed air systems.
In 1994 Jonathan formed ACAS engineering as a sole trader which again, specialized in compressed air systems.
Aiding further expansion of the company, Jonathan relocated to Winstanley Road, Orrell, Lancashire with the office being relocated to Hewitt House also of Winstanley Road.
The requirements for additional space as the company continued to grow led to an expansion in Tontine, Orrell, Lancashire in 2012.
ACAS Engineering became a limited company (ACAS Engineering Ltd) in 2015 with Matthew Pegg in charge of operations, Toby Cunningham in charge of engineering and Jonathan Cunningham as the managing director.
ACAS Engineering relocated to Buckshaw Village amalgamating both previous locations together into two brand new purpose built units.
ACAS Engineering looks to expand in the Buckshaw Village location beginning with the employment of 2 new engineers with a view to also expand into a third unit in the future. This is to aid the products and services that we can offer to our ever growing client base.

Jonathan started the company back in 1979. He is still involved in every aspect of the business and his knowledge is invaluable.

Matthew started working for ACAS as an engineer while studying. He quickly learned all there was to know and now handles the day-to-day running of the business.
Toby is a born engineer. He can diagnose and repair any system and/or its constituents and is an asset to the company.
Rob’s knowledge and dedication are admirable. A very good engineer who takes pride in his work.
Adam is another very committed engineer. Well trained in all aspects of mechanical engineering and pneumatics.
Emma is a vital member of the team and has proven to be confident, competent and eager to learn.
Dale is one of our new engineers. He takes great pride in his work and is eager to learn more about each aspect of our day to day engineering activities.
Matthew is the newest member to the team. Along with a passion for his work, he brings an assortment of engineering expertise acquired over his years of experience.
